To escape the absurd
This meaninglessness
That trails me

Multiplies the dread

Piety in suffering
I can feel the world
A mound cries a king
Crown made of thorns
Destiny scorns the norms
Normalcy and abnormalcy
Tears rain on the parade
Of ideologies I’m supposed
To tell lies in which
The truth I’m after
I feel confused here after
Wondering if there is
Meaning in these
Meaningless illusions
The validity of dreams
In the existence of dream realms….

Mind boggling
This life is puzzling
What is the moral
Of this twisted story
The dark meets the light
At the horizon
I see a vastness before
My naked eyes
Forbidden to pierce the veil
A doorway leading to happiness
This place my sadness
Has never visited
Despairing in the meaningless suffering
Suffering for the truth.

Truth seeker
Seeking the right
Philosophical stone
To build the one
Truth with I encounter
Mass graves with
Bodies of truth
Within vessels weak
I feel the strength
Of character lacking
In the development
Of my subsequent thesis
Yin is bound to engulf
Yang in their never
Ending struggling
Yawning with the chasm
Where understanding lies
Vast the rift in between lines
Skeptical about the soundness
Of this madness belief
Belief that life really holds
A higher deeper meaning
Than the eyes convey
I’m dismayed by these
Ponderings wondering
If upstairs I haven’t traded
Realms bygone alone
Befuddled by this drug
Called truth coursing in
The veins of poison
I die to understand this world
The birth place of wonder.
